Coast Medical Services (CMS) may be a family owned and operated business, but it doesn't stop us from being able to provide a full range of medical waste disposal services. From the initial consultation to packaging and disposing of your medical waste, our company is there from start to finish.
Consultation
CMS provides free consultations to New Jersey companies in need of medical waste disposal services. A CMS representative will visit your facilities in order to get a clear understanding of your business and its waste disposal needs. As part of our free consultation, we will determine which waste must be removed from your site in order to remain in compliance with state and federal regulations. If you are required to file with New Jersey's Annual Generator Report, our representative will also be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding filing this report.
Packaging and Collection
CMS drivers package, weigh and label waste in accordance to state and federal regulations. All waste is packaged in small, medium or large corrugated boxes and/or red bag liners that are both NJDEP and DOT approved. Our driver will leave a copy of the manifest with your office staff and the original is available for download 24 hours per day on our Website.
Disposal
CMS collects medical waste and delivers it to the proper transfer station, from which it is sent to the appropriate destination for final disposal. It is important to note that, in accordance with New Jersey regulations, CMS is a medical waste transporter only. CMS does not incinerate or auto clave the waste, but every step of the disposal process is in compliance with federal and state regulations and is documented for your records.
